cultural interpretation + lifestyle design

Philosophy

· A cultural interpretation practice centered on sustained rhythms ·I study slow cultures as functional systems.
Grounded in the Mediterranean Basin and Blue Zones, I focus on traditions that support health, longevity, and meaning. These pillars are rarely pursued directly - they emerge from alignment: regular meals, daily movement, shared time, seasonal limits, and a pace that can be sustained over years rather than weeks.
My work bridges science, culture, and culinary architecture.
I render traditions legible in contemporary life, translating them into practical frameworks that honor human limits, seasonality, and pleasure. Meals are a central structure; they shape time, appetite, and relationships while anchoring daily life in a shared rhythm. When that foundation erodes, appetite drifts, days fragment, and connection fades.
I work closely with you to reorient everyday patterns.
By paying attention to how you eat, move, rest, and relate to time, we collaborate in creating a lifestyle that flows naturally rather than feeling prescriptive. Priority is placed on continuity over intensity, restraint over abundance, and livability over performance.
This is a slow, relational, and personal practice.
We begin with a conversation about how your days unfold. From there, we attend to the structure of meals and the restoration of rhythm and connection until what remains is a quietly self-sustaining life. This is not about optimization or productivity; it is about arriving at a pace that can be lived fully, repeatedly, and without constant stress.
If the philosophy resonates, the work tends to as well.

Context

I grew up between Florida, Italy, and Greece.
During the school year, I lived and studied in South Florida. Each summer, I returned to Italy and the Greek islands, where long tables filled with food stretched late into the evening and meals are treated as anchors rather than interruptions. Living between them made that contrast impossible to ignore.
Training sharpened my attention to structure.
I studied biomedical engineering and nutrition, but I was formed by classical ballet - fifteen years of rehearsals, repetition, and learning that discipline is not intensity, but consistency. Later, yoga deepened that understanding. Breath, attention, and small daily practice revealed how regulation happens quietly, over time.
The turning point came when I began questioning pace.
During the pandemic, when everything slowed, I returned to regular movement and stillness. I began practicing yoga daily and studying meditation and breathwork. Later, I taught in settings ranging from local gyms and online spaces to the beaches of Greece. Slowing down made it clear that I no longer wanted a life organized around hustle.
My practice emerged from that tension.
Many are drawn to a Mediterranean way of life yet struggle to translate it into their own lives. I do not teach you to imitate another culture. I help you understand the structures that allow traditions to endure - shared meals to regulate appetite, repetition to stabilize mood, pace to determine sustainability - and design daily life around those principles.
Today, I work with people seeking steadier ground.

Advising

Advising offers a space to step back and examine the patterns that shape the way your days unfold.
Life organizes itself through small repeating events: when we eat, how we move, where our time goes, and how rest and work distribute across the week. When those drift, life can feel hurried, fragmented, or difficult to sustain. Most people don’t lack effort - they lack stable structures.
I help rebuild daily rhythms around stable structures so that your life can sustain you.
In these conversations, we will look closely at your daily life to find where adjustments may restore steadiness. Rather than imposing strict routines or prescriptive programs, the focus is on understanding how patterns form and how they can be reshaped in ways that are realistic and sustainable.
The approach draws from Mediterranean cultural traditions, research on long-lived communities, and an understanding of daily life as something shaped by culture, environment, and habit over time.

Seasonal Lifestyle Design

· A restructuring of daily life in alignment with seasonality, human limits, and pleasure ·Designed for deep lifestyle change, we work together to rebuild the patterns that shape your days: how you eat, move, sleep, and manage your time, space, and state of mind. Over the course of a season, changes are introduced gradually and allowed to settle, so that new habits become lasting rhythms. We work across four areas of daily life:CULINARY ARCHITECTURE
· medicinal foods and the Mediterranean diet
· meal composition, timing, and how to structure meals
· seasonal eating and how appetite shifts across the year
· how food affects energy and metabolic health
DOMESTIC ENVIRONMENT
· how environment shapes behavior
· surroundings that support or resist habits
DAILY STRUCTURE
· how time distributes across the day and week
· light exposure, sleep timing, and circadian rhythm
· natural movement as part of life
RELATIONAL LIFE
· the people you spend your time with
· how stress is experienced and managed
· sense of direction and purpose
By the end of our time together, you will have a clear understanding of the sustainable patterns that support long-term health, and how to maintain them as your life changes. You will leave with a way to plan your meals and grocery shopping, practical adjustments to your environment that support lasting change, a stable daily routine, and an intentional way of relating to yourself and others. If this reflects what you are looking for, we begin with a brief introductory call. This allows us to meet, discuss your goals, and see whether working together makes sense. Introductory calls can be arranged by email.
